We have more information about the Isom Fire in Tuolumne County today. It started in a 10 x 20 foot storage outbuilding.Due to CalFire's sending 8 engines, 2 CalFire Tuolumne County fire engines, 2 Water Tenders, 2 Air Tankers, 1 Air Tactical plane 1 helicopter (all out of Columbia) plus 2 training fire captains and 1 battalion chief, the fire was stopped before it spread
into the wildland.
Nice job, CalFire!! The cause is still under investigation.
