Letter to Calaveras County: To Cannabis or not to cannabis!

Dear Sierra Sentinel and Calaveras County:

Yes, that is the big question in our county. Is it better to allow the Tea Party nuts control our destiny, knowing they want to ruin us?

Or would it be better to accept the fact that cannabis is better than booze or any other pharmaceutical drug for the people?

And the more important question is; are our elected officials bright enough and have the batteries in their brains to see the light, that this is the best agricultural product the county may ever have.

I read your articles about the tax benefit and about the money we would save by passing the initiative that Bardon Stevenot  started, and I completely agree.

To destiny, and not disaster, as the Tea Party wants. Let them move to the State of Jefferson if they want. After all, the anti-pot people are incompetent anyway!!

Thank you for your time.   From Copper

California is set to approve after the voters weigh in on recreational. BoS can make the call to be in front of the rest, tax the growers, regulate the crop and move forward. There are many other important issues. Put this one behind us and move on. YES to cannabis regulation

Is it one the next supervisor agenda? I don't have a lot of faith in the intelligence of these 5.

Who do all these guys out in Mountain Ranch, CCA, sell the product to? The state will only let them sell through a distributor or direct to a dispensary. This is why the CCA guys are manipulating the entire situation. They sell out of state. The BoS better tax the commercial growers before the product leaves the county
