   According to the Angels Camp Fire Department on June 16, 2016 at approximately 2:31 AM units from the Angels Camp Fire Protection District, Murphys
Fire Protection District, San Andreas Fire Protection District, CalFire, and Calaveras Consolidated Fire Protection District responded to a reported structure fire in the 400 block of South Main Street in Angels Camp.

   Units arrived on scene to find a single family residence that was 75% engulfed in flames.  All residents were able to exit the residence unharmed.

   Firefighters were able to confine the fire to the residence with no extension to the
surrounding vegetation.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
