Fire in Jackson

   UPDATE at 5:55 PM:  CHP has asked Caltrans to put up barricades on MIddle Bar Road to block traffic from the fire area.

    July 11, 2016 at 5 PM:  A grass fire has been reported on Hwy 49 at Middle Bar Road in Jackson.

   Avoid the area if possible, as fire personnel arrive in the area. Middle Bar Road is closed.
