On July 3, 2016 just after midnight the Calaveras Sheriff received several complaints of gunfire and aerial fireworks in the area of Sawmill Road, Cheyenne Road and Choctaw Road in Copperopolis.
The complaints apparently stopped after 1 AM. The Calaveras Sheriff took no report of the incidents.
