UPDATE at 6 PM: Good news! Forward progress in the Stagecoach Fire has been stopped at 20 acres. One trailer and one home have been destroyed in this fire.
UPDATE at 5 PM: Hwy 4 is now reopen, but Horseshoe and Hodson are closed due to the fire. Residents not evacuated can access their homes on Littlejohn Road.
July 12, 2016 at 4:50 PM: The Stagecoach Fire in Copperopolis is now officially 20 acres. Evacuations are taking place in nearby homes.
More water tenders have been requested for this fire.
