UPDATE: CHP reports that although this was a collision carelessly caused by a distracted driver, both were wearing seatbelts and injuries were minor.
December 16, 2016 at 2:35 PM: A traffic collision has been reported on Hwy 49 at Tuttletown Road in Tuttletown.
Emergency personnel are en route to the scene. Be extra cautious if in the area.
