On December 28, 2016 Calaveras Sheriff's deputies arrested Jason Robert William McVey (36) of Valley Springs at his residence on Scenic Valley Drive.
McVey was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Voluntary Manslaughter, being Felon with a Firearm and for Possession of Prohibited to Own Ammunition, all felonies.
