After learning and hearing more complaints about the PACE program, which gives loans called 'Super Leins' to those who want solar,
HVAC, and other energy improvements, the Calaveras Supervisors voted to end the program in a 5-1 vote.
Seniors suffered under the program in many cases because these 'Super Leins' were put on the TAX ROLES by Tax Collector Barbara Sullivan. They become past due and are then the people can lose their homes. Congratulations Supervisors. A very wise choice!
