The Irish Fire is located in Amador County, but smoke is drifting to Calaveras. It was noticeable last evening around 7:30 PM.
It is worse in Amador County, where an Air Quality Advisory has been issued. The Irish Fire in 790 acres and as of 7:40 AM is listed at 50% containment.
Willow Creek Road is closed near Hwy 16.
