The number of cars coming down the hill from Ebbetts Pass is probably the largest we've seen in a few years. Is this a sign that the Bay Area is feeling more confident and traveling?
It is a good sign that a lot of campers, kayakers, wine tasters, etc. came to Ebbetts Pass over the Labor Day weekend.
CHP had to help with traffic a different times both at the signal in Murphys and the one at Hwy 4 and 49 in Angels Camp today, Monday, September 3, 2012, as they headed down the hill.
You'd think the economy was really booming! Sadly, it's not yet in Calaveras County. But keep those minimum wage tourism jobs coming, Supervisors.
