What landowners, ranchers, farmers, etc, in Calaveras County, get welfare from the government in the form of Farm Subsidies?
Recently a study showed that Billionaires in the US receive these welfare payments instead of the needy farmers.
In Calaveras County, the # 1 on the list is John Tiscornia who has received nearly $100,000 between 1995 and 2012 just in "disaster payments"
Next is Walter Valente, Jr., followed by Steven Wooster and Leroy Rader, Douglas and Elliot Joses and Tom Tryon.
In addition, there are livestock payments, and the list is very similar in names. Do these landowners, etc. also get away with paying no property tax per the Williamson Act? Hmmm!
