A $9 billion deal to pay back the government for its mortgage security "irregularies" is being pushed as a repayment to mortgage holders who lost their homes, but don't hold your breath.
Most of the money will go to the giant companies who bought the mortgages in giant clumps as good mortgages, when they really were losers and the rest to the government.
