Deputy District Attorney Pfeil gets conviction

    On Tuesday, July 8, 2014 Robert Swiggart was convicted of four felonies after having 2 prior strikes, four prison priors
and one misdemeanor.

   The felonies, according to the Deputy DA Dana Pfeil, include criminal threats, inflicting injury on Jane Doe (the victim is using that name) a co-habitant, attempting to extort $5000 and stalking of Jane Doe after a restraining order was issued against him.

    In the middle of the trial the defendant decided to represent himself, as is his constitutional right, so the Public Defender's Office was relieved.

     Three deputy sheriff's testified during the trial. Swiggart could receive 25 years to life due to his 2 prior burglary convictions.
