The Elk Grove Fire Department reports that yesterday a fire that enveloped a motorhome and then destroyed 2 homes, was caused by "safe and sane" fireworks.
This only goes to prove that there is really no such thing as truly "safe and sane" fireworks. Please use caution not to allow something like this to happen in Calaveras County.
