According to CHP, on December 13, 2013 Michael E. Garner (58) of Stockton was driving his Ford F150 while intoxicated northbound on Milton Road in Milton at 55-60 MPH.
Due to his intoxication, per the report, he allowed his vehicle to leave the right hand roadway edge.
Garner turned his vehicle back to the left and this turn caused him to lose control of his vehicle. The Ford crossed the roadway and overturned down the embankment, coming to rest on its roof.
Garner was able to exit the vehicle on his own where he remained until CHP arrived. Garner was arrested on scene for alleged DUI and booked into the county jail.
He was transported to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
