Paul B. 'Buddy' LeVan, III

      Paul Bowman LeVan III, 58, of Copperopolis in Calaveras County, entered into eternal rest due to unexpected myocardial infarction on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 5:58 PM along Pool Station Road.


   Paul was born on January 18, 1957 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and was the oldest son of Audrey Jean Wolf of Pennsylvania and the late Paul Bowman LeVan Jr.

   San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

   He graduated from Dauphin County Technical School with a Carpentry degree in 1974, then served in the US Army from 1974 through 1978. He served in Hawaii and California as a Carpentry/Masonry Specialist before being honorably discharged.

   Upon leaving the Army, Paul relocated to California to reside. He lived in Copperopolis for 26 years. He was a Master Carpenter, along with being a member of the Carpenters Union.

   In his leisure, Paul enjoyed crabbing, fishing, golfing, metal detecting, watching movies and caring for his many beloved animals, which included bunnies, chickens, dogs, ducks, goats and pigs.

   He leaves behind, to celebrate his life, his brothers Richard LeVan of Pennsylvania, Robert and his wife Donna LeVan of Arizona, Joseph Wolf, Jr. of New York and Andrew Wolf of Pennsylvania. He also leaves to cherish memories, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

  He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnnie Wolf and his stepfather, Joseph Wolf, Sr.

   A private graveside service, with full military honors will be arranged at the discretion of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, RR #2, Box 484 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville,
Pennsylvania.

We hadn't seen each other for many years but I always wondered how you were . I'm going to miss you , big brother . RIP , little guy ... I'm always going to miss you .
