According to a CHP report, on May 6, 2015 at around 7:10 AM Chris Calestine (25) of Sonora was driving 1984 Jeep on Sawmill Flat Road in Columbia when he lost control as he drove off the right shoulder.
He then over-corrected and veered across the oncoming lane and then continued up the embankment.
The Jeep then rolled over, coming to rest on its wheels blocking the northbound lane of Sawmill Flat Road near Big Hill Road.
Neither Calestine or passenger Kevin Raso (21) of Sonora were injured, but the other passenger Justin Porter (25) of Sonora was taken to Doctors Hospital in Modesto with head trauma.
