After 66 years of the federal government forcibly taking raisins from farmers without full payment, in order to raise prices, has finally been ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
How they got away with it this long is difficult to understand. The justices voted 9-1 against the USDA government program. There are a lot of bad practices under the USDA that need to be challenged, according to people familiar with their procedures.
