Former Giants player murdered in Texas

   According to authorities, former MLB star Darryl Hamilton, (50) who played for 13 years with the Brewers, the Rangers, the Giants, the Rockies and the Mets, was killed in an
apparent murder-suicide in Texas.

    Hamilton retired from playing to become an on-air analyst with the MLB Network. 

   He was found dead just inside the door of a home in Texas. Monica Jordan (44), mother of their 14 month old child was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

   The child was found unharmed in the home and taken to Child Protective Services.

   Hamilton batted .291, had 1333 hits, 707 runs scored and 454 RBI's in his career.
