According to CHP, on June 20, 2015 Daniel Rau (64) of Mountain Ranch was driving his 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Ridge Road in Mokelumne Hill at 40 MPH when for some unknown reason he allowed the motorcycle to lose traction on a curve.
The Harley collided with the roadway. Mr. Rau was transported to Mark Twain Hospital with major injuries.
Alcohol/and or drugs are not considered a factor in this collision.
