CCWD working on big pipe to Forest Meadows?

All we wanted to know was, what was going on, and do you think we got
a straight answer?  We still aren't sure what was going on, except that
it was so loud, you couldn't hear yourself think!

With around 7 CCWD vehicles and more noise that you would hear from a jackhammer in your living room, CCWD (Calaveras County Water District) says it was fixing a leak in the big giant pipe that goes to residents in Forest Meadows.

    They were on Hwy 4
in the middle of Hathaway Pines, the place that had bad pipes everywhere and NO decent fire hydrants on the highway!

When we asked Underhill (who has always ignored the older pipes in the area in favor of helping the Forest Meadows voters), she never even replied.

Instead, she had Joel Metzger state that it wouldn't affect Sunrise Point!  Huh?  We are sure that must be true, because this is the GIANT pipe with all the pressure that goes to Forest Meadows.

It travels along Hwy 4, and the access point they were working on was apparently in the middle of
one of the old homes driveways.

Around a quarter to 4, they pulled up stakes and left (union jobs, you know) and put some type of cover and barriers on the edge of some poor man's driveway.

They actually seemed to be using some type of giant line cleaner, rather that repairing a leak, but it was hard to tell. There was so much noise, don't know how they could think.
