Yesterday afternoon, we were unfortunate to come upon a large amount of CCWD vehicles parked on Hwy 4, making more noise than we have ever heard from a water company crew.When we sent questions to the Board (especially Bertha Underhill as it was in her district), we were told to LIKE them on FACEBOOK!
It was laughable, except that this was a serious matter, regarding our water, and we did not feel it should be a game for social media.
Today, we sent them an email that their immature behavior of refusing to issue any press release regarding what most consider to be a serious matter, and playing games on FACEBOOK is not only
treating issues and ratepayers with flippant disregard; their RATEPAYERS, who over pay for the abuse of not being allowed to use water when they need it.
You have to LIKE us on FACEBOOK to get news of importance? Any CCWD Board member who agrees with that synopsis should resign or be thrown out of office immediately.
For the amount of time whoever it is who like playing social media games, they could have issued a public service PRESS RELEASE so the ratepayers would know what is going on.
CCWD admits they have plenty of water for our use, but continue to abuse the ratepayers with crazy harsh rules and failing to notify them when they have a right to know. It's disgusting!!
