The Trump campaign has turned in a letter written by a private Trump employee named Meredith McIlver, saying she is responsible for the language in Melania Trumps' speech.
Now admitting to the plagiarism of Michelle Obama's 2008 speech, after days of denying it, apparently the woman offered to resign. Trump refused to accept her resignation, they are saying. Trump had to do something to take the direct blame off his wife.
