A very important funeral was scheduled today for the Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge member and Bingo operator, known as "Bingo Bill"!
The weather was nasty, but people tried to pack the hall anyway. Problem was, the county road was not plowed! Blagen Road, along with most others in Ebbetts Pass were impassable without heavy duty 4 wheel drive.
So where was Calaveras District 3 Supervisor Oliveira? A member of that Moose Lodge, he was already under criticism for his poor handling of the one-way bridge he had finally installed.
Now he's a no-show and unavailable while residents fight to get around the area???? Answers, Mr. Oliveira????
