According to CHP on March 17, 2018 around 2:35 PM Timothy L. Murphys (51) of Oakdale was driving a Toyota westbound on Hwy 4 near Poole Station Road at approximately 30-35 MPH.
As he came out of a curve in the roadway, he lost control of his vehicle, crossing the eastbound land and entering the south shoulder.
Consequently, he collided with a reflector post and then a tree. Mr. Murphys sustained major injuries and was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center.
Drugs and or alcohol are not a factor in this collision, per CHP.
