A CalFire rep came to the Calaveras Supervisors meeting on April 24, 2018 to say that they recommend clear-cutting ALL trees and bushes in Calaveras and Amador County.
CalFire is no longer a fire-fighting agency as they used to be. They at one time, stopped fires immediately and there was NO clear-cutting.
This is to help SPI and the burn ovens who make money off these trees. Corruption is so bad in CALFIRE, who is part and parcel of SPI.
We have always lived in a high fire county. However, at one time there was NO union who told firefighters to stand and WATCH fires! They put them out immediately. Volunteer in the public helped too.
These people are dangerous!!! Clear-cutting only causes MORE global warming and higher fire danger--and CalFire knows it.

What happened to cal fire? They usedk to care, hurry to put out fires, now they wait for hours sometimes, no air support, no chance
