Jeannette "Jonni" Bennett

    It is with great sadness that the family of Jeannette Bennett announce her passing on April 28, 2018 at the age of 71.

   A kind and loving
wife and mother, she always put her family first. She was a woman of tremendous faith and was at peace knowing she was going to be with our Merciful Lord.

   Jeannette Frances Guidi was born March 14, 1947 in Sacramento. She was united in marriage to George Bennett on June 12, 1963.

   A loving mother to her 3 children, Jeannette also loved to sew and to decorate.  When her children were in elementary school, she worked at a yardage store and later homed her entrepreneurial spirit, building her own decorator business as a representative for the company Home Interiors and Gifts.

   She thrived in this career as it was something she was passionate about.

   Jeannette supported her husband throughout his career in the Navy, earning many awards herself from the Navy for her volunteer work.

   She was a tireless servant for St. Patrick's Church, working at the Preschool, as a Director of Religious Education, Catechist, Leader of Children's Liturgy and Member of the Altar Society,
including as past President. 

   Jeannette is lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, George and their children, Dana (Ruth), Diana (Mark), an Danielle (Shane). Jeannette will also be remembered by her four grandchildren; Jason, Alexander, Erin and Conor, but her brothers Mike, Jim and Rich, brother-in-law James and sisters-in-law Rachel and Jann.  She is predeceased by her mother and father, Alice and Darwin Guidi.

   A Rosary service will be held at Angels Camp Memorial Chapel, 1071 S. Main St. in Angels Camp on Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 7 PM.  A viewing will be available from 3 PM to 8 PM.

   A Funeral Mass in memory of Jeannette will be held on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at 2 PM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 820 S. Main St. in Angels Camp with Father Rolly presiding.

   A Graveside Service will follow at the family plot at the Catholic Cemetery on Old Stockton Hwy in Angels Camp. Reception to follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Hall.

   In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "St. Patrick Catholic Church Altar Society."
