Calaveras Supervisors want visitors to PAY and PAY

Instead of welcoming visitors to Calaveras County as a tourist friendly wine tasting and ski area, the 5 male Supervisors of Calaveras voted to put on the November ballot measure G.

That's G as is Go Get them, Gaggle them and Grind them for money. They want us to vote to increase the TOT (Transient Occupancy Tax) to 12%, double what it is now.

They say this money will fill all potholes, prevent thefts and burglaries, improve fire response and protection and give more money to the Calaveras Tourist and Visitors Center in Angels Camp.

Of course, this is ridiculous.  There is no way that the POSSIBLE $600,000 increase could cover all those promised actions.

VOTE NO!!!! on Measure G for GOATLOAD!!

And why shouldn't they pay? They use all our services. If they don't pay, we will be paying for everything out of our taxes.
