Bike Trail Along Angels Creek

The City of Angels, in all it’s glory, previewed the new perceived biking and walking trail along Angels Creek at the last City Council meeting.
David Hanham, Planning Director,  made the presentation, which shows a long red line as the newly revised trail. When one member of the public mentioned that it is going through a piece of land where the owner does not approve, City Manager McHatten said that when the City is ready to build the trail in that area, they will attempt to buy the land, and that if the owner says no, they will revise the trail yet again to go around.
Another member of the public wanted to know why we are planning to spend this kind of money on a trail for outsiders when our own children don’t have a safe way to walk to school?

Still another member of the public wanted to know who was going to police the trail 24 hours a day?
We have still more questions. Will eminent domain play a part in the City’s trail, or will it end up being a trail to “NOWHERE”?

Who will clean up the messes left from the travels of the visitors to our creek area. If you’ve seen visitor areas on Sunday nights, you know what messes are left. Who’s job is it to empty the garbage cans. The landowners?
No! We say that the City Councilmembers who vote to approve this plan are the  ones who are responsible for all of the above. When will they begin to care about the economy and jobs and the local residents instead of the tourists
