Please Drive Me to Store

Use caution if a stranger comes to your
door. Thieves will often check to see if
anyone is home.

    The Calaveras County Sheriff's office received a report from a resident on Honda Lane in Valley Springs that a stranger came to her door on July 18, 2012.

    He was reported as a suspicious person because he asked to be driven to a store to buy cigarettes and soda.

   The person was not located when the officer arrived at the scene.
