Did you know that 1 of every 28 children in America has a parent behind bars? Well, Sesame Street did and now they've added a Muppet named Alex to their cast.
That number is higher that those children who have a parent in the military deployed to a foreign country. Alex is the first Muppet to have a dad in jail.
