Is Edward Snowden a Traitor or a Patriot?

UPDATE: Monday morning June 24, 2013 reports say that Snowden is in Russia getting ready to head for Cuba and then Ecuador.

Sunday June 23, 2013: Edward Snowden left Hong Kong for Russia and is being helped by the Wikileaks organization.

The US Government has charged Snowden with espionage!  Do you agree with this? The ACLU does not agree.

why does the government always call a whistleblower a criminal when they get embarrassed by what is exposed. He's a patriot, in my opinion.

The guy should be hung like any traitor!

Snowden will most likely go down in history as a hero like the Pentagon papers guy. The government tried to convict him too and failed. I say he's a patriot!

I was so happy to see that Pelosi got booed when she called him a criminal yesterday.

I'd say what goes around comes around. Daniel Ellsberg was the man who leaked the "Pentagon Papers". Had a PhD from Harvard and didn't flee the country. Turned himself in as a matter of fact. LBJ and Kennedy were lying to the country AND congress! And we kept sending kids to fight and die. With a draft! Unless you were deferred (see Bush, Cheney, Clinton).
And history repeated itself when we went to Iraq looking for Bush's & Cheney's WMD's. and we were in Afganistan because of 9/11! 9/11 created the Patriot Act. Which is the catch all for the intense surveillance. And this is what Snowden has released. And he now is on his way to Moscow! Who was Vietnam's ally during that war which generated the pentagon papers.

Now Ellsberg is helping Snowden, along with Wikileaks. They never convicted Ellsberg of anything.

I think President Obama was set up by the Republicans to try and help Bush look better.

this is Bush's law! Snowden is a patriot and a whistleblower, in my opinion.
