Part 6, June 10, 2013: One person in Fly-In Acres and asked if they get to vote in this rate increase
protest. CCWD says NO, because they are not getting a bill from CCWD.
The man said now you are going to raise my expense and we don't even get to vote. I'm paying $30,000 by next Monday and I don't get to vote. Oh, my!! The tension in the room is very high.
Where are the Board members? Why aren't they in the room.
Guy Puccio from Meadowmont says that you say only customers get to vote, but don't you mean that only property owners who are also customers get to vote.
CCWD said YES. Does that mean that renters who pay the water bill don't get to vote? YES!
Are you getting short term loans? Less than 7 years, CCWD says. Then he asked if at the end of the term of the short term debt, will there be a balloon on the short term debt.
CCWD was very vague and said it may be or may not be. OMG!
