El Dorado County Supervisor Arrested-Where are the Whistleblowers in Calaveras?

They are NOT above the law, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department. We received information that elected official
El Dorado County Supervisor Ray Nutting was apparetnly booked into jail there on alleged perjury, filing false documents, illegal use of public funds and failing to recuse himself from voting.

Obviously, someone blew the whiste in El Dorado County!! They should get a medal!!

Anyone who pays attention sees corruption all the time here in Calaveras County; from disappearing video, to past agenda and minutes changed without any votes. In City government we see special favors being passed to benefit families of elected officials. Many feel there seems to be no end to corruption!!

We see elected officials who push hiring questionable employees and covering of criminal behavior by elected officials when it costs the ratepayers or taxpayers. And they get away with it!!

We have seen law enforcement protecting personal friends and failure to turn over evidence that they themselves revealed. Yes, corruption is everywhere in this county, too.

Will anything ever change here?  Is the corruption so imbedded in the government that it will never be cleaned up? Scary, but possible!!

It takes GUTS to be a whisleblower and most government employees keep quiet just to get their paycheck and cushy retirementd. They are afraid of being exposed!

"In April, El Dorado County Auditor-Controller Joe Harn told The Bee that he believed an invoice submitted by Nutting to the state for brush-clearing work appeared to be "an intentionally misleading bogus document" that violated a state false claims act."... Peter Hecht Sacramento Bee May 29/30
How is it some news sources list names, positions, and quotes while others speak in inuendo, slanderous, and aggressive ways? Wonder which journalistic style gets results from elected officials and the public in general?

Well, I know that Calaveras County has an Auditor that talks a lot, but only about people she doesn't like.
