National Flood Insurance Program broke

Calaveras County still struggles to accept what the Calaveras County Supervisors Callaway and Thomas did to residents, bringing in FEMA, resulting in forcing many residents to pay NFIP for flood insurance.

The entire reason that FEMA is trying to get more people to pay into the NFIP is because in the middle of the country floods occur every single year and NFIP must pay out to those insured.

NFIP has no money left and their borrowing power is exhausted, while more storms are raging in the midwest.  How will they pay?  Will they be defunct?

This article is almost worth a comment. WWWWWWait, You forgot Teflon Tom Tryonville Tryon's participation in the delinquent FEMA's job. But of course, because of his teflon and his exit sentiments of regretting having brought FEMA to Calaveras. Can't forget Tofanelli's "the county is solvent" statement.
Now we have a new board, all fired up, ready to, to, be negligent and less than honest regarding flooding and FWMA.
Remember one thing, why the county does what it does. It has a motto, "Wait and see who sues?" This year might be ripe for those contemplating suing the county. Check county counsel's budget.
The only problem, the county might declare "BANKRUPTCY". No wonder Tofanelli isn't around.

Hey, did anyone else notice, during the BOS policies & procedures hearing and vote, the BOS overruled the First Amendment of the Constitution? You know, "Freedom of Speech". It would be laughable if it wasn't so defining of the new and 2 senior BOS members.
Did ya see the budget policy, not to raise fees to balance the budget. What was proposed, RAISE FEES!
Oh please, what's the relevance? Truth, transparency, no ties, no lies.
