June 21, 2013: The weather bureau is predicting rain for Calaveras County beginning late Sunday night and continuing Monday and Tuesday.That would be a luxury, as it would give the forest and grasslands a little more moisture as we approach the July 4 weekend.

Too little, too late. In case you haven't noticed the only thing green is the unadopted flower of California, Yellow star thistle.
