The Murphys Historic Hotel on Main Street in Murphys reported to the Calaveras Sheriff that on June 2, 2013 that they found residue from what they believe may be drugs on a night stand and powdery substance and blood all over the sheet in one of the rooms.
There had also been a disturbance report from the room above. No arrest was made or citation issued.
