Three Wildfires in Colorado--8000 acres gone so far

Royal Gorge Fire

   In a fire that was first reported on Monday, June 10, 2013 afternoon, the total acreage burned
so far is 8000. Also nearly 60 homes have been confirmed lost.

   Not far from the devastatng fire that last year destroyed homes and record areas of forest, the three fires are at about 0% containment, and the cause is not yet determined.

   The termperatures around Denver yesterday were 100 degrees.
