US Wildlife spends over $100 million to trap and poison wildlife

You know how the Sierra Sentinel feels about wildlife. The wild animals have as much right to live on this earth as do the human animals who dominate it.

The Natural Resources Defense Council has a trailer to a video of how some ranchers in the US agree that the wildlife plays an important part in our ecosystem and want to end the torturing of wolves, bears and mountain lions. There are other ways to protect their herds.

Go to their website and take a look at the trailer, which is part of a movie that is cirulating around the county about our government's, (including Calaveras County taxpayers) gladly paying the Wildlife Services agency to kill any bear, mountain lion or other predator if a rancher rings his bell. And they do RING THEIR BELLS!!

Read about it for yourself. Click on the Wild Things trailer on their website.
