Cal Fire reports that on July 15, 2014 around 6:30 AM they responded to a report of a vegetation fire in a remote area around 900 block of Skull Flat Road in West Point.
Downed power lines were the cause of this fire. 1/4 acre was burned before firefighters were able to access the area and extinguished the blaze. PG&E was notified.
