UPDATE: Laura's Law was just passed in San Francisco.
Those of us who either have family members or neighbors or friends who suffer from mental problems
will welcome Laura's Law. San Francisco is now considering it.
Anyone who has refused mental health assistance, who threatens anyone and / or is in the judicial system for obvious mental conditions needs Laura's Law.
It forces by court order those who need assistance or medication to take it or be possibly institutionalized. This law could prevent many suicides.
Not only would it give relief to those who suffer from someone else's mental condition, but could relieve some of the violent acts we see in this day and time, especially involving children.
