UPDATE at 3 PM: Major injuries were sustained in this collision per CHP. There was only one person in this vehicle.
June 17, 2015 at 1:45 PM: A car that hit a tree
on Hwy 88 at Beyer Lane, east of Stockton, is on fire and the subjects are trying to escape.
Emergency vehicles are responding to the scene. Use extra caution if in that area.
