Missing Murphys man

   According to the Calaveras County Sheriff  on June 2, 2015 they received a report of a missing Murphys resident.

  Family members reported that Mark Dantche was last known to be in the
Railroad Flat area in Calaveras County during the evening hours of May 30, 2015; he had not been seen or heard from since.

   It has been reported that Mark Dantche may have had intentions to fish in the area between Winton Road and Blue Mountain Road in West Point.

   The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office has not located Mr. Dantche or his vehicle. Investigators have determined that his cell phone may have been last used on Saturday night near Beardsley Reservoir in Tuolumne County.

   The Tuolumne county Sheriff's Office, US Forest Service and a helicopter from the CHP have checked the area where the cell phone may have been used, however, no signs of Mr. Dantche have been located.

   Mr. Dantche is a 45 year old white male with brown eyes and grey hair. He is about 5'9" tall, and weighs about 190 pounds.

   Mr. Dantche was last known to be driving a 1996 blue Subaru Wagon with 4 doors with a yellow kayak on top.  The license plat number is 4YMF103.

   Anyone with information regarding Mr. Dantche's whereabouts is asked to call the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office at 209-754-6500.
