After 10 days in the ICU and 2 weeks off work, Jimmy Fallon came back and told the story of what he did to his ring finger. It's the reason why some companies discourage wearing rings.
If you are wearing a ring and it gets hooked on something, you can lose your finger. Basically, this was what happened. They were able to save his finger by taking a vein out of his foot during surgery. Fallon is still wearing a heavy cast on his hand.
