Butte Fire Update: Add 10 more homes burned

As of September 20, 2015 at 7:20 PM, Cal Fire had increased containment of the Butte Fire to 72%.

The number of homes lost had also increased to 545, 10 more than from the morning report.  We still have not been able to get them to release Amador and Calaveras County losses separately.

And there still is no publically available perimeter map that shows where the fire is officially contained and where it is not. CalFire has detailed enough information to say containment increased from 70 % to 72 %. Why the heck can't they put those maps on their website or make them available to any of the local websites such as Sierra Sentinel?

I appreciate all the efforts to put out the fire, but communication has been terrible. These are not state secrets; the public wants and needs to know.

These cornball political types say "its for your own good". I'll decide what's for my own good, thank you.
