Jerry Brown's $15 BILLION tunnels for Southern California troubling

The Governor of California is packaging the twin tunnels to Southern California as an answer to problems of the drought.

The fact is, NOTHING in this $15 billion
There is a campaign to
try and stop the tunnels,
but people in Calaveras
don't seem to get it!

plan helps anyone in Northern California; instead it will increase costs of water to WE, who are the SOURCE of the water for the state.

The public comment period on this project is the end of October, and everyone needs to write a letter of objection to Governor Brown and his Southern California supporters.

As long as CA is one state, the problems of southern CA are our problems. They need water and this gets it to them more safely. And it creates jobs in northern CA.

If there is a specific objection to the plan, please post it. Opposing the plan simply because it helps people who are no us seems narrow minded.

To socal: was this comment to all of us in the NoCal area. We in the north have nothing against you (wouldn't want to live there) , but you should have to pay for the water to take from us. You want it, but want us to pay the taxes for it, do nothing to help us in return. things should go both ways socal.

It's always NORCAL water vs SOCAL money and politics. Fact is, Brown knows they have the votes against us. we lose everytime.

A meeting for the discussion of the State of Jefferson is coming up. The CC Republicans are sponsoring it.
