While FEMA has brought in dozens of trailers supposedly to help provide housing to victims of the Butte Fire, they continue to sit at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento.
Chris Wright, Calaveras District 2 Supervisor attempted on Tuesday to get the other Board members to give these burned out residents a break, without success. All they could think of was liability to the county if they allow people back onto their own land.
