It turns out that the cop in Illinois who elaborately staged his suicide to look like a homicide, was under investigation by the City Administrator.
The woman apparently had repeatedly requested an itemized inventory of money and merchandise, which now the cop is accused of having stolen.
In fact, yesterday it was revealed that there is allegedly evidence that he may have tried to hire a hit man to kill the City Administrator due to fear of being discovered. If it wasn't for this woman, would he have not been discovered at all??
This cop was honored with a many miles long procession and funeral service (including the Illinois Governor) in early July, and if other cops were aware of his many years of criminal behavior, they did as many cops seem to do best; cover for each other, lie for each other and praise and honor each other no matter what!
