At the last CCWD meeting, as often happens lately, Director Strange and Director Ratterman tried to criticize another Director Mills, for claiming 50 cents travel time to attend a meeting in Murphys.
The attacks on Director Mills appear to be personally intended to harm him, but the amount of money is questionable.
Ratterman charged the CCWD ratepayers $1,892.59 for his vacation in Washington DC. Strange charged the CCWD ratepayers $1,757.73 and Dave Eggerton, GM of CCWD charged the ratepayers $1996.08. Are they kidding, or is this corruption???
They claim this trip was approved, but we learned that it was a total waste of money; that they could have met with Congressman McClintock locally, but wanted a nice vacation in DC. Now this should be criticized; not a 50 cent charge for mileage.
What is wrong at CCWD, anyway?? Bickering over 50 cents???
